Tailgate guards are a great alternative to having a dog cage or crate in the boot of your car. They allow you to make full use of the room in the boot for your dog, giving him or her more space to spread out and be comfortable. They are fully adjustable and will fit most vehicles, and the pockets and hooks on the doors are ideal for storing dog treat, poo bags, leads or anything else that you might need while transporting your pet.
Our VarioGate tailgate guards for dogs are best used with our VarioBarrier dog guards that fit between the rear passenger seats and the boot, keeping all occupants in your car safe in case of an accident. These are also fully adjustable to fit most vehicles.
If you have more than one dog or you wish to keep your dog away from other luggage, then our VarioDivider can be fitted at right angles to the dog guard and tailgate guard, to separate the boot area into two sections.
